Did you imagine ever something called as SOCIAL FEST?

Can you think of an event which is hosted at different Institute each year (Like Olympics at different countries)?

All this true with BITS Pilani hosting THE “Renaissance2011”, creating a legacy of taking an event after NIT Nagpur hosted Renaissance2010 in April last year.

As the so called breed of young and aspiring social entrepreneurs was on a high number, such a platform was needed which could not just be a place for learning like a typical conference but also fun and trips included.

This social fest aims to bring together energies of socially positive souls of the society for a collective Impact.

The main events are presentation by student social groups, Village visit to Bagar (famous for Grassroot Development laboratory, Rural BPO etc.), show case of young social start ups, panel discussions, NGO quizzes, Movies etc.

The TWO star events for this edition would be "The Better Half" - this time the SPOUSE of the social entrepreneurs speak bringing his/her Reflections of the entrepreneurs journey. And other UNIQUE event is i-Replicate which would be first of its event in country or perhaps Globe where the focus is on replication and shall bring existing efforts to be taken further.
